อายุของใบเคลม
โดยปกติเมื่อได้รับใบเคลมมา ( ใบเคลมของบริษัทประกันภัยของผู้เอาประกันภัยเอง ) ควรนำรถเข้าซ่อม ภายใน 1 ปี หลังจากที่ได้รับใบเคลม เพราะในบางครั้งบริษัทประกันของเราอาจจะต้องไปเรียกเก็บความเสียหายจากคู่กรณี ซึ่งอายุความจากการละเมิดก็มีอายุความ 1 ปี ดังนั้นเพื่อให้รู้ค่าใช้จ่าย ที่เกิดจากความเสียหายที่ชัดเจน และง่ายต่อการเรียกร้องสิทธ์ เราจึงควรนำรถเข้าซ่อมภายในหนึ่งปี หลังจากได้รับใบเคลม เพราะถ้าเกินกว่านั้น บางบริษัทประกันจะไม่รับผิดชอบตามใบเคลมนั้นเลย
